It has always been my dream to have my own country decor store. Because my children were still at home, I rented space in different co-ops and was immediately hooked. Then in September of 2000, the Lord opened all the doors when the co-op I was in suddenly closed. With a lot of inventory on hand, the Picket Fence was born.

We are a warm, cozy country decor and gift store store located in North Idaho. Come in and you will find country cupboards, hutches, tables, upholstered furniture, quilts, hooked and braided rugs, linens, pictures, signs, baskets, birdhouses, reproduction lighting, candles, potpourri and more.

We search out the best cottage industry artisans both locally and throughout the country, looking for unique "made in America" items.
